Greenpot Cafe and Grocer is a hidden gem- the only all vegan grocery in Brooklyn nestled in a cozy little cafe in Greenpoint. They're also a partner of us here at Sensible Bakery, so we had to stop by and check out the cafe!

Walking in we were greeted by the incredibly kind owners of the cafe (yes, they are twins) and were quickly overwhelmed by the amount of incredible vegan options available. If you're vegan or have allergies you'll get the feeling of walking in to somewhere where you can actually eat everything- like being a kid in a candy store!

We eventually decided to try some of their most popular items- the Pesto Provisions Sandwich and the Just Egg Tuscan Sandwich- and couldn't resist grabbing an avocado toast as well. And of course, we couldn't forget the Sensible Bakery cookies for dessert.

While we waited we excitedly browsed the store. Their range of high quality vegan products was incredible, and we were thrilled to see some gluten-free as well!

They don't stop with groceries either. There's a wide range of vegan, eco-friendly, and locally sourced home and toiletry products. They even have some super cute merch!

The drinks came first, and were incredible- an iced matcha and a tumeric ginger tea latte. We were impressed by the amount of different dairy free milk options- next time we go we'll have to try the pistachio milk.

The sandwiches were, of course, amazing. The texture and taste of the vegan meat and cheese were unbelievable, and everything tasted super fresh and perfectly spiced.
